The reason for this is simple: name the file Star Trek. avi and XBMC has no idea which of the dozen Star Trek movies the file may contain. It&rsquos not hard to think of other examples where the name of a movie alone isn&rsquot enough, so add the year to any files that don&rsquot have them just to be sure. Repeat this process for all of your media folders &ndash your music, your pictures, your TV shows, and your movies. XBMC should find just about anything.
